While half of America dreams of moving under the palm trees to Los Angeles, Angelinos themselves sigh across San Francisco. Well, the weather in San Francisco is cooler, and the city is more compact (the layout here is really closer to the concept of European urban planning), and there are a lot of attractions, and national parks are just a stone's throw away, and what wines! We will not dream and sigh, but just go on a three-day tour to get to know the homeland of hippies, Google and famous wines. The road from Los Angeles to San Francisco is so beautiful in itself that it deserves a separate story (see what Jack Kerouac wrote about these places). Two words: Big Sur. After driving along the enchantingly beautiful coastline, we arrive in San Francisco with a clear plan. First, the Golden Gate Bridge and sea views with Alcatraz Prison Island. Secondly, a pier with sea lions and picturesque wooden pavilions. Thirdly, a wonderful city center with monuments of ancient architecture. Finally, the local gastronomy must not be missed: how about dinner at F.F. Coppola? Or do you prefer crabs in a seaside tavern? Where they cook deliciously, they drink deliciously, as a rule. The new day of our trip will be dedicated to wine tastings in the famous Napa Valley. There we will find out who planted the first vine in California, why Napa wines are no worse than Burgundy and what a Zinfandel is. On the way back to L.A. the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH1) will leave you stunning by her majestic scenario in front of your eyes.
